So you've joined Faceland at the IP "mc.faceland.info", huh? Well lucky you, because you're in for a treat. Faceland is a one of a kinda RPG/Survival server with tons of things to do! Let's get started!
The first thing you'll want to do is check out the signs in front of you. There's a lot of custom and unique plugins on Faceland, so learning them would be an advantage! Be sure to check out /help and /rules, then click the sign that will give you free stuff!
Now that you've pressed the sign to go through, you may notice you have some new items! Check them out!
Your Wallet contains all of your held money. You drop everything you have over 100 Bits when you die, so be sure to store it safely at the bank! If you do drop your money when you die, don't worry too much - it can be recovered like a normal item. You can gain more Bits by selling things to the Pawn Shop or from killing monsters!
You have some new items with stats as well! Items at Faceland deal damage based 100% off of the items stats, not the material type. A diamond sword with +3 Melee Damage is equal to a wooden sword with +3 Melee Damage! The helmet you got has bonus health on it! Try it on, and watch your hearts go up!
Try talking to the NPCs to store your money or buy some things. To talk to them, simply rightclick, then type a number directly into chat to choose an option.
Enchanting items is different at Faceland. You need an enchantment tome of the right type, and to be standing near an enchantment table to do it! If you'd like to try, the Blacksmith in the tutorial area sells some cheap tomes. For details instructions on how to use upgrade items like socket gems, enchantment tomes, and upgrade scrolls, do /help upgrades or check out the 'Upgrades' options in the menu bar on top of this page!
Hey, a pit full of Silverfish! When you hit enemies, a number will fly off of them, telling you how much damage you've done. Additionally, the enemy's health will appear above your quickbar, to show you how close they are to death! Monsters have their levels above them to show you how powerful they are - the higher the level, the more xp and drops they can give! Monsters increase in level the farther you go from spawn, so watch out!
Did you kill enough silverfish to level up? If you did, do /levelup to see a menu where you can spend your statpoints from leveling up! That's right, since enchanting has an item cost, you don't lose all your XP when you die, and instead, your level is used for your player's level! The higher your level, the more points you've used, and the more powerful you'll become!
What do all these stats in the menu do though? Do /help stats to see descriptions for them all! Doing /stats shows your current stats based on your player stats, currently held weapon, and armor. Stats that don't apply to you yet are hidden, so the information is always useful and current.
Leaving the Tutorial
Well, that covers the core gameplay of Faceland. There are more things in the tutorial, but the most important ones about what makes Faceland unique are what we've covered in this guide! Once you're ready to leave, click the sign. You'll be moved to the main spawn, where you can head out in literally any direction to explore and find awesome gear! Once out of spawn, you can build anywhere, and even play Faceland like normal Minecraft survival if you feel like it. There are daily quests to complete, shops to visit, and cool areas to explore. Have fun!
